Food: Literally everything at Bareburger is good. Seriously. All the food is all natural, all organic, sustainable, local, and free range. The ingredients and companies they collaborate with really do benefit the environment. There is a wide range of food options- specifically for vegans and vegetarians. Amazing appetizers, a build your own burger menu with different patty choices from bison to sweet potato and wild rice to the famous impossible burger, an array of shares and sides, and delicious desserts.
Drinks: Milkshakes. Unique cocktails. Organic sodas. Beers on draft. Fun lemonades.
Decor: Bareburger has a rustic vibe with goofy, decorative bears added into the decor to create a fun ambiance. Wooden tables and chairs that fit right in to the all natural vibe. Paper towels and silverware in a bucket on the table and the servers use iPads to take orders to add a contemporary, comfortable feel to the experience. There are multiple locations in New York City, which is where I first visited, and it's now even expand into New Jersey, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.
My fav: Fun fact- I worked at the Bareburger in Columbus Circle for about a year as a server and a bartender while I was auditioning and starting out in NYC. I ate a lot of the food either before or after my shifts, and let me tell you- I STILL go back! There are so many food options and they are all amazing! However, the Crispy Brussels Sprouts changed my world. I never liked brussel sprouts before this, and they are cooked perfectly topped with cheese, salt, and a little lemon. Necessary as a starter. I love creating my own burger with the vegetarian patties, but the "El Matador" is a delicious option if you like a little kick to your food. The Banana Foster Milkshake is incredible. Pair it with sweet potato fries and onion rings and you're good to go!
