Food: High class, fancy menu. Charlie's is the perfect spot for date night and a romantic evening at the Jersey Shore. The menu is filled with decadent flavors and savory seafood. Lots of delightful options for sides too. Charlie's is on the pricer side, but as long as you know that coming in, this restaurant provides a wonderful evening with incredible food and service that make the dining experience so worth it.
Drinks: Full wine, beer, and cocktail menu.
Decor: Classy beach house vibes. Bar downstairs, big spaces open for events or parties, and gorgeous views overlooking the nearby lake. It's all very spacious with nice windows for natural light to enter in. Charlie's is ideal for an early dinner as the sun is setting, then finish the evening off with a stroll around Bay Head, New Jersey or over to the beach to look at the water.
My fav: Shrimp scampi, glass of wine, and the cookie in a cast iron skillet for dessert.
