Food: Molly's Cupcakes is an adorable cupcake shop that won Cupcake Wars on Food Network!!! I clearly had to try their famous desserts, and they did not disappoint! Lots of specialty flavors, in addition to nailing the classics. If a bakery is able to do that, that's when you know they are top notch. Their menu features other desserts too like ice cream, bars, cookies, pies, and cheesecake.
Drinks: Bottled beverages to go.
Decor: I visited the location in Des Moines, Iowa, but they also have bakeries in Cincinnati, Ohio, Chicago, and New York City. A cute little bakery with lots of tables and space to come and bring the kids or set up for a bit to get work done. My favorite part about this shop is the set of swings they use for seats! You can take a seat counter, but the seats are instead swings hanging from the ceiling that you can enjoy your cupcakes on! It's super fun and innovative.
My fav: I went with a classic vanilla cupcake with chocolate icing and sprinkles. Worthy of that Cupcake Wars trophy.
