Food: TACOS!!! This place takes Mexican food to the next level! To quote their website: "Mexican tortillas are handcrafted from masa & prepared by Mexican Senoritas who have been taught by their mothers and grandmothers, using age old family recipes". You just know this stuff is authentic. Flavorful individually ordered tacos, burritos, burgers, and salads. The guac menu contains: Classic, tropical, sweet potato, and bacon & corn. So yeah, a guacamole flight is the way to go. And don't even get me started on the street corn! Traditional, Feelin' Cheesy (street corn coated in spicy Cheetos), and Little Piggy (street corn coated in chicharrones dust). Open for lunch and dinner, and a Sunday brunch that features live music.
Drinks: How can you come here and NOT order a margarita? Flavors: Citrus Chile, Jalepeno Cucumber, Black Diamond, Strawberry Basil, and Rosalitta. Full tequila, beer, and wine menu as well. For Sunday brunches, pay $15 for bottomless mimosas and sangria.
Decor: Day of the Dead, but in restaurant form. Super cool ambiance with gorgeous graffiti around the restaurant featuring decked out skeletons and neon lighting. Nice bar seating and wooden furniture. Located right on the main strip of Ft. Lauderdale so the perfect spot for a quick lunch, a long, relaxing weekend brunch with friends, or for dinner and drinks before a night out on the town.
My fav: Street corn and guac flight to start. A few different tacos for the meal. And obviously margaritas throughout. I just wished there was one near me so I could go more often!!
