Food: A Cape May, New Jersey classic, there is something for everyone at The Lobster House. Take out, table service indoors, quick services outdoors, fish market, small bites on a boat- You name it, The Lobster House does it. Seafood is obviously their specialty with a fully equipped raw bar and fish market.
Drinks: Full bar inside, outside, and the Schooner American- a bar on the boat (my personal fav). What's more fun then having a cocktail on a boat? Delicious Pina Coladas in addition to the full cocktail list and wines and beers. They also have a great menu of non alcoholic cocktails and smoothies too!
Decor: Be prepared to wait! The Lobster House gets busy and they don't take reservations! People get there early and line up so make sure you leave plenty of time! The indoor decor is wonderful and feels like a real fisherman's stop. It's comfy, casual, and stays true to it's historic vibes. There really is something for everyone at The Lobster House.
My fav: The Schooner American is my personal favorite spot, but the indoor menu is better and more diverse. The menu's change after Labor Day, so be prepared for that as well. A must visit while in Cape May!
