Food: Willow & Whisk has easily become my favorite brunch spot in New Jersey for so many reasons. The consistency: it's good every single time, and believe me, we go about every weekend. The options: classic brunch options, with their own personal spin that take it to the next level. The flavors: classic dishes, with an innovative twist on them that's honestly too good to be in New Jersey.
Drinks: A brunch BYOB is unheard of, but Willow & Whisk does it! In addition to their incredible coffee options, like Nitro Cold Brew, Maple Harvest Latte, and the Brooklyn Soda (cold brew and coca-cola), they have delicious mocktails too! I like to bring some bubbly and add it to any of these options: Wilijito, Green Greyhouse, or orange juice.
Decor: Opening up right in the heat of COVID sounds impossible right? Not when you're as good as Willow & Whisk! Every time we've gone, the wait is over an hour- that's how popular it is! We've never sat inside, but it looks adorable! A rustic, cute decor that is representative of the food they serve. We've sat outside in their outdoor dining that has taken over a large portion of the parking lot. It's nice in the summer heat, but then do-able in the winter with their heaters and covering tent. They are only open 8-3, so brunch/ lunch is the only option. But if you know me, you know brunch is my favorite, so when I visit Willow & Whisk, I am thriving!
My fav: Everything of course. Here's how you do it: start off with coffee and the mini brioche French toast bites (my absolute favorite and a must when you visit). Order the Wilijito (add bubbly if you have it) and go for whatever you choose for your entree. Some previous favorites include Overnight Oats, Willow Burger, Avocado Toast, Salmon Benedict, Cacio e Pepe Scramble, and the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. If I haven't convinced you yet, just go try it for yourself!
