Food: When you think of late night food, what do you think of? For me, it’s pizza. I can have pizza any time of day- especially late at night after a few drinks. However, I never thought of southern comfort food as a late night specialty until I discovered Wishbone. This southern food is out of control. The spices they use in their fried chicken are so flavorful- same with their mac and cheese. The mac and cheese is made with chicken in it, so it adds a whole different level of flavor. Daily made banana pudding for dessert, as well as cookies and biscuits. This place is your go to spot for southern comfort food!
Drinks: Wishbone has a whole cooler of beers and unique sodas- most are the old fashioned soda bottles!
Décor: Wishbone is open on the weekend until 4am. You heard me right, 4AM PEOPLE. It is the go to spot for good late night food, but is also an option for a lunch or dinner as well. It’s not a gross spot that you look back on the next day questioning your decisions. Wishbone can be visited any time of day, or night.
My fav: The Mac and Cheese was gourmet. Like next level flavors and spices. Same with the breading on the chicken. They had the option of white and dark meat. And they biscuits are so soft! They also have my favorite soda- Cheerwine!
