Food: Full food menu at what is named the High Life Lounge at el Bait Shop in Des Moines, Iowa. Wings, burgers, apps, sandwiches, roasted chicken dinners, and kids menu. Personally, I would order an app or wings from here, cause the selling point to me about el Bait Shop is the beer.
Drinks: el Bai Shop has over 260 beers on draft. That's insane. I have been to plenty of bars that claim to have a lot of taps, but never have I seen a wall like this. 260!! If you can't find it here, I don't know where you can get it.
Decor: A dive bar that feels like it was an old tackle shop for fishermen. Fun outdoor bar and seating for warmer months, but a good amount of space inside with tables and bar seating across from the 260 beers on draft. So many taps- still not over it.
My fav: I tried out some local beers when I was here, but there's not really any point me telling you my favorite cause out of the 260, you'll be able to find your own!
